![]() ![]() I recommend all of the above mods, simply because each offers a different take and insight into all aspects of this game. In private of course as I do not want to derail here. Would love to hash out what youd like to see different. Interesting, 99 percent of the feedback I am receiving says the exact opposite of this. It's pretty balanced and what's the most important - a BEAUTIFUL interface. but many new recipes, quests, loot, workstations, weapons, guns, food, skills and so on. It's really fun, not too easy but rewarding, not that much grindy but you need some time to find good stuff. Undead Legacy is like an enhanced vanilla. If you like hard grinding with almost no rewarding then it is perfect. It is so unrealistic, unsatisfying that I couldn't play more than one hour of 3.0 version, even though I played a lot in 2.*. Food isn't easy to grow because efficient farming is also locked behind a class. Dangerous diseases you get from zombies will kill you (as medicine is ultra-rare in the beginning and locked behind a class). Much slower progression, lots of abilities locked behind classes. Ravenhearst: One of the hard core packages where you will have a hard time to stay alive in the first weeks. Valmod: An excellent "entry level" mod if you want more of everything but not necessarily the hard core package. Wotw: Easy, even easier than vanilla I think, just a loot bonanza, with lots of POIs. I'm looking for a brief description and their comparison to vanilla/other mods. It would be helpful if anyone could give a feedback on any of these mods: Linux and Mac can be pretty annoying in this regard and require some manual edits on the server side's XUi xml files to fix it.I wan't to try out one of the big mods but have no idea what to choose as there is a lot of them and their description looks mostly the same for me(more loot/gear/recipes/zombies/ores e.t.c.). Otherwise they might be using Linux/Mac rather than PC. It is a must for the players to have the mod. So everyone will need to have the mod installed locally in their singleplayer game aswell or else they wont get the images - and even the progression on the server will not function properly. In this regard images do not "push" from the server to the clients. I recommend starting fresh, but its not an absolute requirement.Ģ) This happens typically if the server is modded but the client (player) is not. Or else you might run into some oddities here and there. 引用自 Druberry:I want to use your mod on my Server! I do have a few questions about things I have read!ġ) Do i have to reset to make the mods work?Ģ) I noticed something about people talking about red stripes and questions marks and was wondering if that would show up on the server as well!ġ) Technically no but you should, in the very least, reset the characters to get the full experience. I would like some help! Can I have a link to your Forum? 引用自 Valmar:There appears to some misconceptions here. ![]() Uses up more harddrive space but otherwise easy and simple. Personally if you want to be able to play both I recommend doing what was suggested here and make a copy of the game to install the mod to and then launch whatever one you want to play when you want to play it. Until they fix this (heres hoping in A15) you won't be able to play a vanilla server with the mod installed. Nor the localization files (though they're not as big of a deal, its the progression.xml that "breaks" vanilla). The Pimps still haven't fixed the progression.xml file to properly send everything. The server does NOT push every file to the client. ![]() There is a false assumption spread here that all you need is the Mods folder. But you'll likely run into issues currently. At the time of writing this you won't be able to play a normal server if you have the mod installed. Plus I don't always leave my modding den so I could had completely missed this topic. There appears to some misconceptions here.įor future reference you really should ask me about these things in my topic rather than making a new topic in the general section.
